Tanabata was around the corner, and Minh suggested a photo shoot with the usual suspects. There’s a paper lantern festival at Zojoji temple, complete with Tokyo Tower in the background. This gonna be good.
BUT DAMN THE WEATHER WAS AGAINST US. It rained. They cancelled the paper lantern display. But since we’re there anyway, we had to adapt the meetup into a different thing.
Fortunately, Minh wore her favourite yukata and looking real good in it. It is only natural that we supply her a decade worth of profile photos for her now. So, this is turning into my second yukata shoot ever.
..weird, the first Yukata shoot was under the rain too.
Despite the rain ruining our plans, it was still a great small meetup. I am personally happy that I managed to grab a lot of good shots. Can’t wait to see others’ photos. As summer just started, I hope that we get to do more yukata shoots before Autumn kicks in.
